Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is offering a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern position in Los Angeles, California. You will support our engineering teams, preparing AutoCAD and Revit drawings while learning from senior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

We seek a candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, ideally second-year or higher, with interest in building mechanical systems and basic software knowledge (MS Office).

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
• Must have completed at least your second year.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP and REVIT is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
