Eichleay is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a schedule-driven, collaborative team in Ferndale, WA. You will work with clients and report to the Mechanical Team Lead, applying piping and fixed equipment expertise and interfacing with other disciplines.

Your duties include preparing equipment data sheets, vendor bid packages, and performing code calculations (ASME/API). The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work arrangement.

Formación

• Excellent communication and teamwork to interact with clients and discipline teams.
• Experience applying ASME, API and NBIC standards to piping and equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issues.
• Ensure designs meet codes and standards including ASME BPVC and API.
• Perform code calculations for ASME B31.1/B31.3 and Sec I/ VIII.
• Prepare mechanical equipment descriptions and data sheets.
• Prepare specs for equipment and piping for vendor bids.
• Review vendor drawings and documentation.
• Check piping isometrics, layouts, and support details.
• Select welding procedures, NDE, and testing requirements.
• Prepare construction package components and interfaces with clients.
• Communicate with reliability engineers and field contractors during scope development.
• Conduct final job walk-downs and pre-startup safety reviews.
