Eichleay is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Designer to support refining, oil & gas, and industrial manufacturing projects. You will develop instrumentation, controls, and electrical deliverables while collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

The role involves contributing across all project phases, from upgrades to complex capital projects, with hybrid work in Ferndale, WA (local office Tue–Thu).

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in refinery or oil & gas industries.
• Hybrid work arrangement with three days in Ferndale WA office and two days remote.
• Proficient with AutoCAD/NavisWorks and Bluebeam.
• Willingness to travel locally (at least one day per week).
• TWIC Certification and safety trainings or ability to obtain them.

Responsabilidades

• Develop complete I&E design and construction packages for refinery and industrial projects.
• Create instrumentation deliverables: Instrument Indexes, I/O Lists, loop diagrams, wiring drawings, schematics.
• Create electrical deliverables: area classifications, single-line diagrams, grounding plans, conduit routing, UPS, panels, lighting plans.
• Coordinate design requirements across disciplines and project deliverables.
• Prepare work packages for engineering review and IFC construction.
• Support site walks, RFIs, and client meetings.
