Job summary

Eichleay invites an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Designer to join our Ferndale, WA team in a hybrid role. You will contribute to I&C design and electrical deliverables for refinery and industrial projects, lead other I&C designers, and help scope, budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in oil and gas, strong drafting and software skills (AutoCAD/NavisWorks, Bluebeam, MS Office), and a proven ability to work

Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering or scientific discipline preferred.
Experience in Refinery or oil & gas industries required (min 5 years).
Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and manage budgets/schedules.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies.
Lead and direct I&C designers on projects.
Develop instrumentation deliverables (indexes, I/O lists, loop diagrams, drawings).
Develop electrical deliverables (single-line diagrams, grounding plans, panel schedules).
Coordinate instrumentation and electrical design across disciplines.
Prepare man-hour estimates and material take-offs (MTO).
Support construction, commissioning and start-up activities.
