Placements24 is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Product Development team in East London, Eastern Cape. You will design, prototype, test, and refine mechanical systems and components, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative automated logistics technology to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design or product development, preferably in automation/ robotics industries.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor) and 2D drafting.
• Basic understanding of engineering analysis tools (FEA is a plus).
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and standard mechanical components.
