Placements24 is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer for our client in East London. You will optimize processes, improve quality and throughput, and work with design, quality, and R&D teams. A hybrid work arrangement is offered to balance on-site collaboration with flexible schedules.

The role emphasizes developing and refining manufacturing techniques while supporting improved production efficiency and product manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and tooling.
• Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools.

Responsabilités

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Develop, implement, and document new manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Design and procure manufacturing tooling and equipment, ensuring they meet production requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with product design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Monitor production metrics and implement initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
