Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Roanoke, Virginia office. The position offers a hybrid work model and an opportunity to build analytic and design skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

You will assist with engineering design, calculations, sketches, and drawings, supporting a range of mechanical building systems and BIM workflows. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, with internship experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Builds analytic and design skills.
• Conducts engineering design under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes data under supervision.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
