Job summary

AECOM in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative team. The role begins as soon as possible and focuses on building analytic and design skills under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

Responsibilities include creating designs and drawings, collecting data, and applying BIM and building systems tools within a project budget and schedule, in a hybrid work setting in Roanoke, Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Engineering-In-Training (EIT) registration preferred.
• Experience with BIM (Revit) software.
• Working knowledge of Mechanical building systems analysis tools (TRANE Trace or Equivalent Load Program).
• Prior relevant internship or job-related experience in Mechanical Building Engineering.

Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our highly collaborative and motivated staff in our Roanoke, Virginia office.

This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering-In-Training (EIT) registration.
• Experience with BIM (Revit) software.
• Working knowledge of Mechanical building systems analysis tools (TRANE Trace or Equivalent Load Program, Various Selection Programs, etc.).
• Prior relevant internship or job-related experience in Mechanical Building Engineering.

• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Roanoke, VA. The selected candidate must be available to work in Roanoke, VA on a scheduled basis.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $65000 to $83000.
