Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience for HVAC/building design.
• Experience with Revit is desired.
• Proficiency with load calculation/energy modeling software (Trace 3D Plus, Carrier HAP).
• Federal security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design approaches and basis of design for projects.
• Develop HVAC and plant utility system philosophies and construction specs.
• Perform temperature/humidity control and utility load calculations.
• Prepare airflow diagrams, ductwork, piping plans, and system details.
• Support construction with submittals, RFIs, site visits, and system start-up.
