Qualifications

• Associate degree in Design or related field.
• 6+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in mission-critical or industrial facilities.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM modeling for mechanical systems.
• Experience developing construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit/BIM models and construction documents for mechanical systems on data center projects.
• Support the layout and design of HVAC and hydronic systems, including chilled water and cooling water systems.
• Assist in development of design criteria and basis of design documentation.
• Prepare conceptual and preliminary designs, including flow diagrams and general arrangements.
• Perform ductwork and piping layout based on load requirements, system diagrams, and equipment configurations.
• Produce detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, and system details.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated designs.
• Participate in model coordination efforts, including clash detection (NavisWorks/Revizto).
• Support design reviews and quality control processes.
• Mentor and guide junior designers as appropriate.
