Job summary

PAE is seeking an Entry-Level Plumbing Design Engineer to join our New York team in a hybrid office environment. Under mentorship from project leads, you will transition from academic theory to professional practice, learning to design and model plumbing and distribution systems.

You will gain hands-on experience with Revit/AutoCAD and learn about drawings, codes, and industry standards while supporting project teams on a path to technical mastery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• EIT or ability to obtain is preferred.
• Internship experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of plumbing system design and documentation.
• Develop proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution and Plumbing.
• Learn drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Complete assigned work with guidance from project teams.
• Assist with construction administration.
• Perform mechanical calculations and simulations.
• Design layout of plumbing systems.
