Job summary

Placements24 seeks a proactive Mechanical Engineer to join a growing automotive division. You will design and test components, develop assemblies using CATIA and Siemens NX, and create detailed drawings, BOMs, and specifications for production.

You will collaborate with manufacturing to optimize designs for mass production, troubleshoot issues during prototyping, and stay updated on new materials and technology in the automotive field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years in mechanical design, preferably automotive.
• Proficient in CATIA and Siemens NX with CAE tools exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies for automotive applications.
• Conduct performance and durability testing of components.
• Create detailed drawings, BOMs and specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize designs for production.
