Job summary
Teoresi Inc in Detroit is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer – Automotive to design and develop automotive components from concept through production, collaborating with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.
The role emphasizes hands-on CATIA V5 modeling, 3D and 2D drawings, GD&T, and adherence to automotive standards; a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automotive engineering and 1–2 years of related experience are preferred, with Siemens NX experience a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering
- 1–2 years of automotive design engineering experience preferred
- CATIA V5 experience required
- Siemens NX experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5
- Support design changes, engineering reviews, RFQs, and customer requirements
- Support prototypes, testing, validation, and production launches
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers
- Ensure designs meet GD&T, customer, and automotive standards
