Job summary

Premier Nutrition is seeking a Materials Planner in Emeryville, CA, to manage packaging and ingredient supply from external suppliers to meet finished goods production needs. This hybrid role requires in-office presence Tue–Thu and a strong focus on inventory and supplier coordination in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

You will oversee material procurement, production scheduling, and supplier collaboration, balancing service levels with inventory costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3+ years of experience in an MRP environment (inventory planning, scheduling, capacity).
• CPG industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan materials for packaging and ingredients with suppliers to meet production needs.
• Lead production scheduling and coordinate with sourcing to optimize service and cost.
• Set up planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, lot sizes) in the MRP system.
• Participate in new product launches and transitions to ensure timelines are met.
