Avoca in New York City is seeking a Marketing Web Designer/Developer who can own avoca.ai end-to-end, design every new page, and ship performant campaigns. You’ll pair with the Brand Director, work in Figma and code, and shape the surface where brand meets performance.

The role emphasizes React/Next.js, Tailwind, headless CMS, and a culture of speed, iteration, and impact at a Series B startup backed by top investors.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in hybrid marketing web design/development for B2B SaaS, agency, or in-house brand teams.
• Portfolio must include shipped marketing sites you designed and built.
• Strong React/Next.js fluency with Tailwind, Vercel or Netlify, headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, or Storyblok).
• Strong Figma fluency, design systems thinking, component variants, auto-layout, and library management.
• Hands-on interaction and motion design experience (Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie).
• Strong instinct for marketing performance: page speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and conversion design.

Responsibilities

• Own avoca.ai end-to-end: design every new page in Figma, build it in code, and ship it without handoffs.
• Maintain Avoca's marketing component library and design system with Figma→code parity.
• Ship major sites and microsites for product launches and campaigns; optimize for conversions.
• Lead interaction and motion design on the web; implement hero animations and scroll-driven moments.
• Instrument analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimization; ensure Core Web Vitals and SEO standards.
