Job summary

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking a marketing and communications professional to support strategic initiatives by developing content, providing program support, and driving social media engagement for institute events.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in marketing/communications, strong writing skills, proficiency with MS Office/Teams, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and email marketing tools. Hybrid Reston, VA role with travel to events.

Qualifications

• 4-year college/university degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years corporate or association experience with marketing and communications.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Teams & SharePoint.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
• Experience with graphics tools and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update web pages and monthly newsletters.
• Manage member communications and database activity.
• Assist outreach to local chapters, sections, and branches.
• Design graphic communication templates following brand guidelines.
• Develop and coordinate email marketing campaigns and calendar.
• Coordinate and manage webinar programs for UESI.
• Support conference materials, attendee plans, and sponsorship collateral.
• Provide on-site support for conferences and events.
