Job summary

Procon is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support campaigns, events, communications, and client engagement for a growing AEC consulting firm. The role is hybrid, with a McLean, VA office requirement of at least three days per week and up to 15% travel.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in marketing, strong attention to detail, and solid written/verbal communication skills, plus proficiency with MS Office, social media, and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, business development support, or a related role.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments, deadlines, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, CRM/database systems, project management tools, and modern marketing technology.
• Experience with photography, Canva, Adobe tools, event platforms, CRM systems, or digital marketing is a plus.
• Collaborative, proactive, and flexible approach with a willingness to support a variety of marketing and business development initiatives.
• Interest in developing knowledge of the AEC, professional services, and technology industries.
• Ability to work from Procon’s McLean, VA office at least three days per week, with flexibility to provide onsite support on short notice as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight travel.
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend work to support conferences, client events, and company activities.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including event displays, boxes, marketing materials, and shipments.
