Job summary

Gore is seeking experienced Process Engineers to join our engineering team supporting commercial manufacturing in Phoenix, Arizona, with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will sustain and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and product quality, using Lean, GMP, and Six Sigma to deliver measurable business impact.

This role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and driving projects from concept through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and application of engineering fundamentals and statistical tools for process development and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify critical issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply risk-based decision making.
• Technical communication skills, including documenting and presenting technical work.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering results against timelines and commitments.
• Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment and travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Sustain existing manufacturing lines, including maintaining fixtures, equipment, and SOPs on the shop floor.
• Apply Lean, GMP, and Six Sigma to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and minimize losses.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation with a WBS, timeline, and stakeholder updates.
• Design and input on fixtures, equipment, and tools to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues by analyzing data and identifying root causes.
• Conduct equipment and process validations to meet production and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to drive solutions.
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful team environment.
