Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-level Manufacturing Engineer for its Manufacturing Engineering Capability spread across multiple BDS sites. The role emphasizes production method development, process planning, producibility analyses, and lean implementations to drive cost, schedule, and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with ME processes and procedures incl. MES/CP.
• 3+ years’ experience with manufacturing engineering planning systems such as MESci and/or GOLD.
• 1+ years’ experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
• Develops and implements manufacturing plans and maintains program architecture for build leads.
• Performs producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capability.
• Provides producibility information for project plans and documents best practices.
• Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible definitions.
• Resolves technical problems impacting performance, cost or schedule.
• Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, advanced technologies and lean concepts.
• Validates production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
