Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and drive MES adoption on the production floor. You will configure, test, and deploy MES in collaboration with ME Manager and IT, ensuring data integrity and process alignment.

The role requires strong IE fundamentals, MES experience, and hands-on process improvement skills to enhance productivity and quality. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial engineering foundations and process optimization knowledge.
• Experience supporting MES implementation and user support on shop floor.
• Familiarity with lean and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience creating manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
• Proficient data analysis using Excel or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in documenting manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing process optimization and MES adoption on the floor.
• Configure, test, and deploy MES with ME Manager and IT.
• Integrate MES with existing processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and maintain process docs, work instructions, MES guides.
• Provide day-to-day MES user support and basic training.
• Analyze MES data to find bottlenecks and improvements.
• Use time studies, workflow analysis, value stream mapping.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions with MES data.
• Collaborate with quality, production, and IT for MES compliance.
• Support lean projects and kaizen events on the shop floor.
• Assist in automation and digital transformation projects.
• Provide input on MES performance and process changes.
• Participate in project planning and resource input.
• Maintain communication with ME Manager on MES progress.
