Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop production and tooling methodologies and lead manufacturing planning. You will conduct producibility analyses, validate production readiness, and drive continuous improvement in processes and tooling.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, experience with MESci/GOLD, and strong project management skills, with willingness to relocate and travel up to 10%. A COI assessment may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field (including manufacturing).
• 5+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with ME processes and MES systems.
• 3+ years with MESci and/or GOLD.
• 1+ year in project management.
• Willing to relocate or live nearby.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
• Develop and maintain program architecture for build.
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans.
• Conduct producibility analyses to ensure process capability.
• Provide producibility information for project plans and best practices.
• Analyze design/build concepts for producible definitions.
• Resolve technical problems affecting performance, cost, or schedule.
• Coordinate and implement lean principles and new technologies.
• Validate production readiness of solutions for complex problems.
• Document and communicate ME best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and customers.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
