Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for on-site work in Auburn, WA to support aerospace fabrication, production engineering, and process improvement.

You will collaborate with mechanics and cross-functional teams on the factory floor to drive producibility and efficiency. Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, with strengths in Lean principles and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required by federal law.
• BS degree in Engineering or related field, including Manufacturing Technology or related disciplines.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production processes, tooling, and manufacturing plans.
• Lead improvements to work instructions and standardized production practices.
• Train teams on manufacturing process improvements.
• Participate on IPTs to integrate solutions across disciplines.
• Develop conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture.
• Conduct producibility and variation analyses.
• Evaluate manufacturability of design/build concepts.
• Provide producibility information for project planning.
• Resolve complex issues affecting performance, cost, quality, or schedule.
• Coordinate and implement engineering principles and manufacturing concepts.
• Validate solutions and ensure production readiness.
• Apply Lean manufacturing to improve efficiency and quality.
