Job summary

The Employment Development Department seeks a highly motivated Analyst to support the Manuals Unit, developing and maintaining SDI/NDI/PFL manuals and procedures.

Under supervision, the Analyst will review and update manuals for compliance with laws and regulations, create revision notices, and liaise with other departments. The role is based in Sacramento with hybrid telework and standard 8-5 hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex quality reviews and updates of existing manuals for the SDI/NDI/PFL programs.
• Ensure manuals and training materials reflect current laws, regulations, and DIB policy.
• Lead in developing DIB Manual Revision Notices and communication memos for policy changes.
• Attend work groups and act as SME on DIB technical matters, coordinating with other departments.
• Report to Supervisor I within the Manuals Unit and work from Sacramento with hybrid telework.
