Responsibilities

• Review Personnel Requests (PRs) in SCOPES for transfers, promotions, separations, and classification changes.
• Develop, prepare, and review job opportunity bulletins (JOB) vacancies within the Bureau for proper format, accurate information, and completeness, adhering to EEO/HR guidelines.
• Conduct employment eligibility checks with the HR Analyst and explain candidates’ eligibility regarding lateral transfer and list eligibility to the hiring manager/supervisor.
• Coordinate and process all necessary required paperwork for new hires.
• Take security badge photos of new hires and submit to IT with desk and computer access information.
• Analyze policies and procedures related to personnel and organizational issues such as position control, classification, and staffing allocations.
• Examine internal and external policies and rules related to personnel issues, update procedures as required.
• Participate in special projects to improve Bureau policies and practices.
• Participate in analytical studies of the Disbursements organizational structure.
• Identify alternatives and actions to support reorganizations, new programs, and staffing changes.
• Provide training and guidance to supervisors on personnel policies including new hires and promotions.
