Job summary

System One, a leader in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America, is seeking a Manual QA Test Engineer in Lafayette, Louisiana. This Direct Hire role offers a hybrid work model (onsite and remote) and a 40-hour work week, with opportunities to contribute to high-quality software releases.

You will develop and execute test cases, collaborate with developers and product teams, and use Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, and SQL to validate functionality and data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manual testing experience.
• Understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Ability to write clear test cases, scenarios, and plans.
• Experience logging defects with Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
• Hands-on testing of web and/or mobile apps.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps.
• SQL knowledge to validate data.
• Excellent communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Curiosity and creativity in finding issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases for web and mobile apps with QA team.
• Collaborate with developers and product to ensure quality releases.
• Log and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
• Perform functional and non-functional testing and data validation with SQL.
• Identify gaps in requirements to improve test coverage.
