Job summary

Sistema Technologies is looking for a QA Engineer Automated for a government client in Austin, TX for a 1-year position. The role centers on designing automated tests, prioritizing scenarios, and documenting processes, with a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and local candidate eligibility.

Minimum requirements emphasize designing automated tests, test planning, and strong SDLC knowledge, plus the ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Experience prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments.
• Experience performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies.
• Able to interpret requirement documents and update test documents accordingly.
• Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions.
• Acquires knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle.
• Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
• Preferred: Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
