Job summary

Colorado Department of Transportation seeks a Maintenance Curriculum Developer/Trainer to design, develop, and deliver technical and leadership training for a statewide maintenance program. You will manage curricula and collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve training content and outcomes.

The role includes coordinating with diverse stakeholders, delivering instructor-led and blended training, and evaluating program effectiveness within a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Formal education and experience in curriculum design, instructional methods, and adult learning principles.
• Minimum 4 years in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Organizational Development, Leadership or closely related fields.
• 3 years in curriculum development and instructor-led training with a focus on technical training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve course content and training formats.
• Evaluate training needs and objectives; develop curricula to meet new training requirements.
• Design, develop and revise course content for maintenance and operations topics.
• Manage training projects and program delivery schedules across the state.
• Deliver training and assess effectiveness using measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers to support employee development.
