Job summary

The Chicago Transit Authority is seeking a Training Programs Manager for the Bus Maintenance department. You will oversee development, revision, and evaluation of maintenance training programs and coordinate updates to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include managing project timelines, mentoring staff, liaising with internal departments and outside vendors, and preparing training budgets and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, or related field.
• Four years of experience coordinating, managing, or evaluating maintenance training programs or instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Oversees project management of the Bus Maintenance training programs.
• Plans, manages, and coordinates activities to develop and evaluate maintenance training.
• Coordinates with regulations and develops compliant programs.
• Supervises development and implementation of training in line with regulations and standards.
• Assigns, monitors, and reviews work of training staff and ensures policy adherence.
• Liaises with internal/external departments on behalf of the Bus Maintenance Instruction department.
