Job summary

SIG is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose breakdowns, and support production equipment upgrades. The role requires basic electrical/mechanical skills and adherence to safety standards.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize systems, contributing to reliability and efficiency across the facility. The position emphasizes teamwork, safe work practices, and ongoing learning in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance inspections.
• Conduct breakdown analyses and provide technical assistance.
• Repair, upgrade, and maintain production equipment and systems.
• Adhere to electrical codes, OSHA safety requirements, and site guidelines.
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Support sanitation, housekeeping standards, and safety initiatives.
• Participate in PM optimization Kaizen events.
• Other duties as assigned.
