Job summary

CBES City Building Engineering Services (CBES) is seeking a Maintenance Services Clerk for a hybrid position requiring commuting to Salisbury, NC at least 3 days a week. The role coordinates service maintenance for 2200+ properties, ensuring adherence to standards and budgets while handling billbacks and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities include dispatch of maintenance work orders, processing invoices, reviewing aging orders, obtaining bids, and ensuring timely completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic service center tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and direct dispatch of work orders for maintenance, landlords, IT, and operations.
• Process invoices and billbacks, track expenses and ensure timely payment.
• Monitor aging work orders and obtain bids, approvals, and proper coding of expenses.
• Provide status updates to leadership and coordinate with vendors to complete repairs.
