Job summary

CBES, City Building Engineering Services, is seeking a Maintenance Services Clerk in Salisbury, NC. This hybrid role supports 2200+ properties, coordinating maintenance work orders, vendor quotes, and invoicing while ensuring service standards meet budget expectations.

You will liaise between clients, in-house teams, and service providers, processing requests promptly and maintaining safe, compliant operations. Strong organization, communication, and ERP-like software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have professional customer service experience in a fast-paced service center.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting impact of activities and ability to communicate.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and direct dispatch of work orders for maintenance, IT, and operations.
• Process invoices through maintenance software and ensure timely payment.
• Monitor aging work orders and obtain quotes; secure leadership approvals.
• Communicate status updates to leadership and coordinate with vendors.
