Job summary

PSEG is seeking a Planner Analyst in South Plainfield, NJ to support CREFM and LTS by delivering comprehensive work planning, scheduling, coordination, and tracking for maintenance, construction, and facility-related work.

This role collaborates with field personnel, engineering, procurement, and vendors to define scope, resources, and executable schedules, while creating detailed work packages and cost history for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of facility or utility maintenance experience.
• Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work activities, priorities, and schedules simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively with field personnel, supervisors, customers, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional departments.
• Working knowledge of SAP, TRIRIGA, Maximo or related work management systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; familiarity with MEGA, CADD, GIS and Power BI.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, data analysis, reporting, and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Develop, establish, and monitor preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, project, and other planned-work schedules supporting CREFM and LTS activities.
• Partner with supervisors and field personnel to define work scope, priorities, resource needs, and execution timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed work plans and work packages with scope, labor, materials, tools, drawings, permits, outside services, and information for field execution.
• Perform schedule analysis, critical-path assessments, trending, and tracking of field changes and delays.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, and planning tools to provide visibility into workload and backlog.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements when developing work plans and packages.
