Job summary
NTT DATA seeks a Mainframe Engineer (Onsite Hybrid) to join our Jersey City team. This role provides technical leadership, develops architecture solutions for high-scale data processing, and sets technical standards across the platform.
The position requires extensive COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL experience; CICS knowledge is valuable. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive compensation range with potential incentives.
Qualifications
- 8+ years COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL experience.
- 5+ years CICS knowledge would be valuable.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought & technical leadership for key initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining architecture solutions for high-scale data processing.
- Setting, communicating, and reinforcing technical standards.
- Lead junior and senior engineers, leveraging and enhancing their skills.
- Assessing current implementations and elevating the platform to meet customer needs.
- Work with Operations to plan infrastructure upgrades, troubleshoot, and tune performance.
- Collaborate on process improvements, policy, and service experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and unit testing; support production issues.
