Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Systems Engineer - M&A Integration to lead hands-on migration and integration of acquired companies into BKF’s Microsoft cloud environment. The role focuses on 365, Entra ID, and related security controls, working with multiple acquisitions across the year.

The ideal candidate is a technical generalist with strong Microsoft cloud experience, able to work independently yet follow established migration plans and BKF standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on admin and migration of Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience migrating Google Workspace to Microsoft platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, AD, MFA, SSO and conditional access.
• Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Experience with Intune and endpoint management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot across identity, email, collaboration, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• Excellent PowerShell and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple acquisitions with after-hours cutovers.
• Experience with security platforms like Defender, Purview, Sentinel.
• Collaborate with MSPs, consultants and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical integration activities for acquired companies in accordance with migration plans and BKF standards.
• Migrate data and users to BKF platforms including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Support migrations from Google Workspace and other MS 365 tenants.
• Manage identity, access, and provisioning using Entra ID, AD, MFA, SSO.
• Coordinate endpoint enrollment, Security policies, and user authentication.
• Assist with Azure and cloud-integration tasks when required.
• Collaborate with acquired IT teams and vendors to gather technical info.
• Follow migration runbooks, cutover plans, and hypercare processes.
• Troubleshoot issues during migration, cutover, and stabilization.
• Document environments, migrations, configurations, risks, and status.
• Contribute to reusable integration playbooks and scripts.
