Job summary

PenFed Credit Union in Tysons, VA, is seeking a Hybrid Manager for Merger & Acquisition Operations & Integrations. You will lead loan portfolio conversion initiatives, coordinate across Operations, IT, Digital Banking, Compliance, Legal and Vendor Management, and drive successful integration and data migration programs.

The role requires 6+ years in financial services or related fields, 2+ years in management, and strong analytical, communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, data analytics, project management, accounting or related field.
• Minimum six years in financial services, card services, PM, portfolio conversions, operations, business analysis, systems implementations, or related.
• Minimum three years supporting mergers, acquisitions, portfolio integrations, large-scale conversions.
• Two+ years direct management experience.
• Proven leadership of enterprise-wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders and vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end loan portfolio conversion and integration initiatives from mergers or strategic partnerships.
• Manage all phases of project delivery: planning, requirements, implementation, testing, conversion and post-conversion stabilization.
• Develop detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, risk mitigation and executive reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison between business units, acquired institutions, technology teams and external vendors.
• Coordinate conversion readiness activities across operational, technical, regulatory, communications and training workstreams.
