Job summary

PenFed Credit Union is seeking a Sr HRIS Analyst for a hybrid role at our Tysons, VA location. You will lead HRIS functions across the employee lifecycle, overseeing data governance, reports, and system changes.

You will coordinate HRIS projects, automate HR programs, and act as the technical point-of-contact for HRIS areas. The role requires strong experience with HCM systems, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration across HR, IT, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (5) year of experience, eight (8) years' of experience preferred in related functions.
• Five (5) years of experience in HRIS/HCM systems, with experience using ERP solutions like Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, iCIMS, etc.
• Three (3) years of experience with relational databases, SQL queries/reports, data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead HRIS support for various HCM applications and modules, including configuration analysis, testing, release readiness, post-production stabilization, and optimization.
• Serve as senior HRIS SME and advisor to HR stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable system solutions.
• Lead or support cross-functional HR technology projects from requirements to post-implementation support.
• Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and vendors to support integrations and data exchanges.
• Lead and support IAM implementation and SSO for HR apps.
• Manage software reconciliation updates for HR applications with IT/governance teams.
• Oversee HRIS data governance, data standards, validation, audits, access reviews.
• Create, maintain, validate routine reports using HCM tools or SQL or other platforms.
