Job summary

PenFed Credit Union, in a hybrid role based near Tysons, VA, seeks a Manager of M&A Operations & Integrations to lead planning, execution, and assimilation of merger targets. You will coordinate across Operations, IT, Digital Banking, Compliance, Legal, and Vendors to ensure seamless conversions and strong governance.

You will oversee loan portfolio conversions, data migration, and validation, using SQL, Power BI, and BI reporting to deliver actionable insights and executive dashboards for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, information systems, data analytics, project management, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years in financial services, card services, project management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum three (3) years supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale conversions.
• Two or more years of direct management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end loan portfolio conversion and integration initiatives from mergers or acquisitions.
• Manage all phases of project delivery: planning, requirements, implementation, testing, conversion, stabilization.
• Develop detailed project plans, milestones, risks, and executive reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison between business units, acquired institutions, and vendors.
• Coordinate conversion readiness including operational and regulatory workstreams.
• Support due diligence by assessing portfolios, processes, and systems.
• Evaluate post-conversion performance and drive continuous improvement.
