The role requires 1+ year in collections, loss mitigation, or call center experience, plus NMLS licensing within 6 months and MS Office proficiency.

Compensation starts at $23.00/hour with a monthly bonus, plus potential bilingual

Qualifications

• One (1) or more years’ experience in collections, loss mitigation or call center within a mortgage servicing environment required.
• Full State NMLS licensing required within 6 months of entering this job.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry terminology and government program requirements (FHA/VA/USDA) preferred.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls to discuss foreclosure alternatives and eligibility.
• Follow up on signed trial agreements and final loan modification documents.
• Communicate approval or denial of loss mitigation options and explain account info.
• Review hardship documents to determine best workout option.
• Assist with escalations and provide information about MHA Help when requested.
