Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; some college in business/finance preferred.
• 5+ years mortgage industry experience.
• 2+ years loss mitigation/negotiation experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; mortgage/real estate terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team handling inbound/outbound calls from borrowers, agents, attorneys and third parties on short sale and deed in lieu requests.
• Analyze Short Sale and REO transactions to ensure investor approval and compliance.
• Negotiate and present counter offers to agents/attorneys/third parties.
• Submit negotiated files for senior management/investor approval.
• Manage foreclosures postponements and coordinate mediation/settlement appearances; some travel.
• Prepare monthly department reports for Senior Management.
