Job summary

GEODIS seeks a Sales Development Manager in Brentwood, TN to drive prospecting and outreach for our transportation business. You will build lead lists, initiate multi-channel contact, and move opportunities through the funnel with support from Business Development.

Requires 4–7 years in sales (logistics preferred), proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and data tools. Hybrid work schedule, plus travel as needed, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of sales/inside sales experience; logistics preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• PC literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, journals, procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information clearly to groups of managers, clients and the public.
• Ability to develop close customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build targeted prospect lead lists using Amplemarket, Salesforce, ZoomInfo and market insights.
• Initiate personalized multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone, direct mail) to drive engagement and discovery meetings.
• Support quality reporting to show sales pipeline and success by outreach methodology.
• Maintain clean Salesforce documentation and lead funnel tracking.
• Cross-train with sales teams to sell in a multi-line logistics business.
• Manage relationships with Business Development to book meetings and drive opportunities down the funnel.
• Collaborate with Sales Performance & Marketing to evolve messaging by vertical feedback.
• Travel as needed.
