Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate courier services, specimen pickups, deliveries, and client requests. You will act as the hub between clients, couriers, laboratory staff, and third-party providers to ensure timely service.

This position requires strong computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Hybrid schedule with in-office and remote days is available.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills across multiple software applications.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Experience in customer service, dispatch, logistics, call center, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch courier pickups, deliveries, STAT requests, and route changes.
• Use Soft Express, Genesys Cloud, and other software platforms to schedule, track, and monitor services.
• Communicate effectively with couriers, clients, laboratory staff, and third-party vendors.
• Answer inbound calls and accurately process service requests.
• Monitor courier activity and resolve routing, pickup, and delivery issues in real time.
• Maintain dispatch records, logs, and documentation.
• Support daily courier operations by coordinating supplies, route materials, and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
