Placements24 is seeking an organized Logistics Coordinator to oversee driver operations and streamline delivery processes in the George region. You will manage a fleet of drivers, optimize routes, and ensure the smooth flow of goods to meet client demands across the Western Cape.

Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
Strong understanding of route planning software and fleet management systems.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage a driver team.
Knowledge of the George and surrounding Western Cape areas is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the daily activities of a team of delivery drivers, ensuring optimal performance.
Plan and optimize delivery routes using logistical software to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times.
Monitor driver performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and driver schedules.
Liaise with clients to address delivery inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company safety policies.
