Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status at time of internship.
• Enrolled in an accounting, cost accounting, or auditing program at a college or university.
• Ability to work 40 hours each week during the internship.
• Interested in pursuing CPA credentials; ability to work collaboratively with a varied team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the audit process for local government engagements.
• Analyze and test key elements of client financial statements.
• Perform testing to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Establish working relationships with client personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service.
• Work on a variety of different accounting projects.
