Job summary

United Bankers' Bank is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to prepare, generate, and track loan packages and ensure integration with accounting systems. The role emphasizes accuracy, collateral tracking, and loan history management, with a hybrid schedule after training.

The candidate should be located in the Twin Cities area, working three days per week in the office (Tue–Thu). Education includes an Associate’s degree and 1–2 years of loan documentation experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1-2 years of loan documentation experience.
• Commercial loan documentation experience preferred; UBB does not originate Mortgage loans.
• AS400/Loan System experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares/Generates new loan documentation, notes, security agreements, and guarantees, plus modifications.
• Creates/organizes loan files and tracks collateral and insurance information in Sageworks/Abrigo.
• Boards/Enters loans onto Jack Henry AS400/Loan system following note terms.
• Tracks original loan documents and monitors loan history.
• Monitors weekly rates and notifies the Loan department of changes.
• Maintains contact lists, and adds loans to secure file transfers.
• Maintains collateral safekeeping records and collateral receipts.
• Conducts yearly audits of notes and safekeeping drawers.
• Facilitates monthly system reports and may back up loan payments.
