Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates in Wilmington (hybrid) is seeking a Paralegal to support the Litigation Department. The role involves handling complex tasks across all phases of litigation with limited supervision, focusing on court filings, discovery, and trial preparation.

The candidate should bring strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include maintaining client files, staying current with Delaware and federal rules, eDiscovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years paralegal experience preferred in litigation.
• Fluent navigation of electronic databases and document management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support litigation attorneys across all phases of litigation.
• Prepare court filings and assist with discovery and trial prep.
• Maintain the integrity of client files and organize case data.
• Maintain knowledge of Delaware, Federal and Chancery Court rules and procedures.
• File court documents electronically via File & ServeXpress and PACER CM/ECF.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and other sites.
• Coordinate with case teams to proactively track deadlines and needs.
• Assist with eDiscovery workflows and document productions.
• Mentor junior paralegals on best practices and use of technology.
