Tyson & Mendes seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal for our Northbrook, IL office. The role focuses on discovery, document management, case organization, deadlines, and trial prep with a collaborative team of accomplished attorneys.

The position requires paralegal certification and 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with Illinois matters. Hybrid work is offered, with in-office attendance one day per week and as needed for trial prep.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification required or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Experience with Illinois state and federal litigation encouraged.
• Solid understanding of civil litigation deadlines and rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with discovery, motions, and deposition preparation.
• Manage trial prep including witnesses, exhibits, notebooks, and subpoenas.
• Review and organize medical records and damages calculations.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to move cases forward.
