Job summary

Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff in New York seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a hybrid role. You will support attorneys on complex matters, manage large dockets, and assist with discovery, trials, and document handling.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of litigation experience, ABA-approved paralegal certification, and strong proficiency with e-filing systems and litigation software.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification preferred and 7–10 years of litigation experience at AmLaw 150 or equivalent.
• Experience with all phases of litigation, including discovery and trials.
• Strong knowledge of e-filing via CM/ECF, PACER and related portals.
• Proficient with litigation support tools and practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and file pleadings, motions and discovery in multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with attorneys for trial preparation and exhibits, including war rooms.
• Manage large caseloads and ensure timely filings and service.
• Provide hands-on e-discovery support: collection, processing and production.
• Assist witnesses and attorneys for depositions and court appearances.
• Maintain case files and ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
• Monitor court dockets, deadlines and calendaring; ensure compliance.
