Job summary

Fish & Richardson, a premier IP law firm, invites a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join the Atlanta team in our fast-paced Litigation Practice Systems Department. The role supports case management, document preparation, e-filing, and trial coordination with local counsel and the LDD.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in patent matters, and be comfortable working a hybrid schedule in Atlanta with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Experience with patent litigation preferred.
• Hybrid role; ability to work in Atlanta office at least 2 days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate creation of case management repository for new matters and primary responsibility for case file organization.
• Generate and format legal documents; organize exhibits; file and serve; coordinate with local counsel.
• Electronically file court papers; stay current with e-filing rules.
• Notify Litigation Docketing Department (LDD) when new matters open and share documents with LDD.
• Schedule depositions; maintain deposition calendar and process transcripts.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and assist with report drafting.
• Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries.
• Support pre-trial planning; coordinate trial logistics and on-site support.
