Job summary

AMS-Staffing-Inc in San Diego is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support civil and labor & employment matters. The role requires California law familiarity and at least two years of relevant litigation experience.

This permanent, full-time position offers a hybrid schedule (1 day WFH after onboarding) and a salary of $100K-$120K with strong benefits. You will handle case management, document prep, e-filing, and calendar coordination.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of civil or labor & employment litigation law experience. California specific experience required.
Strong organizational, communication and client services abilities.
Excellent writing and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Able to prioritize needs, multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
Overtime may be required.
Experience with electronic document management systems and e-filing in CA and Federal courts.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of case management.
Assist attorneys in preparing, proofreading, revising and finalizing legal documents.
E-Filing in state, federal and appellate courts.
Maintain confidential information, files, records, legal documents and reports.
Submit intake and conflicts checks, process time entry and client billing.
Maintain attorneys' calendars, schedule travel, appointments, meetings and conferences.
Other duties as assigned.
