Job summary

Fox Ballard PLLC in Seattle or Tacoma is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join our civil defense team on a hybrid schedule. You will manage a diverse caseload in insurance defense, health law, and civil litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting research, and defending depositions.

• Active Washington State Bar membership is required.
• 3+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, health law, or civil litigation.
• Strong research, writing, case management, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, professional liability, and healthcare disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, take and defend depositions, and develop litigation strategies.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
